Not alone…

The belief in a creator is ‘medieval’.
Existence creates and recreates itself. Existence is eternal.
In the time of the Upanishads and Shankara they did not talk about the theory of evolution.
Consciousness may be eternal and pure. But we are more then that.
You can love someone completely physically, that kind of love is not inferior to pure being.

Bhagavad Gita

People like to stare blindly at the so-called true self. It must offer them security.
They hope to be superhuman by staring at the navel.
But there is still hatred, envy, lust, greed and the like in their lives.
We cannot ignore ourselves as human beings, we are also human.
The light is of no use to you if you only want to be in it. Be a light to yourself. Penetrate everything that you are. Dispel the darkness through the light that you also are. Let ‘God’ and human being become one.
‘The Avatar’ (incarnation of God), message of the Bhagavad Gita.

Hard to handle?

Teachers who affirm the duality of the observer and the object are not awakened.
At most, they are philosophers with a false doctrine.
Teachers who claim that the thinker and the thinking are different have not seen the Truth.
Teachers who let love or atman be worshipped as it were and regard the rest as illusion have no inner peace, are internally split, in conflict: I-and-myself.
You are the world you perceive.
There is no separate self.
You are everything.
Yes, you are That but also the entire universe!

Are you happy?

Glorifying consciousness itself or pigeonholing the brain helps no one.
Science cannot prove anything beyond its sight. And knowledge is always relative, never 100% complete. Because when do you know everything about everything?
But how much knowledge do you need when a light comes on in the darkness of your life?
When you awaken, all knowledge turns out to be superfluous. I am not talking about practical knowledge: for example, how to drive a car.
Therefore, true self-knowledge is not another person’s business but your own.
When the light comes on, who cares…?

The Buddha said: If you are hit by a poisoned arrow, you are not going to think about who shot the arrow, what wood the arrow is made of, how the arrow hit me, and what bird the arrow feathers came from. You are going to focus on the poison and the antidote.

But people are trying to make a science of consciousness and until then they live in darkness.
You don’t have to understand everything about electricity to flip a light switch.

And you don’t have to study the finger that points to the moon.

Jiddu Krishnamurti said at the end of his life that no one had understood him. Had it all been just entertainment, his presence?

All that esoteric knowledge, all that traditional philosophy, all that psychology, all that knowledge of others can get in the way of you seeing what you should and can see. Directly and without any doubt.

There is no such thing as me and life

Spirit has always existed.
Matter (energy) has always existed.
They influence each other in infinity.
In That which has no properties.
All that is non-two.
Life is all there is.
You are life.
There is no such thing as me and life.
But within thought anything is possible, even a sun revolving around the earth.

Thinking

Thinking becomes a problem when we start thinking about our thinking. When we try to change our thinking, try to control it. I-and-mine thinking represents a conflict.
Can we free our thinking from all domination? Can we free our thinking from all belief? So that we can see directly.

Brahman?

You could call life “Brahman.
Because it has no beginning and no end. You cannot say that life is only that and not that or this, because life includes everything (and nothing).
Life also represents consciousness but also includes matter.
Consciousness and matter are not the same thing. Consciousness is not subject to matter. But consciousness is equal to its content, matter. Consciousness does not exist separate or apart from life.
Life did not create life but there is life, change, in life.
Life on the one hand is nothing at all, beyond any representation and yet it is there. And you are It.
Life did not make consciousness and/or matter but it encompasses it. However, life does not exist anywhere separate, apart, and yet it is more than consciousness alone.
I am consciousness, I am the immortal, infinite.
I am human, the person, I am mortal, changeable, limited.
I am life which is everything and nothing.
I am the world that I perceive.
There is no separate self.
You cannot avoid life.

Stuck between your ears

If I have to work with someone who is stuck between his ears, I then refer to the body itself: feeling what you feel, hearing what you hear, seeing what you see, smelling what you smell and tasting what you taste. Let the observer be the observed. Simply shifting the attention directly to the body. The body is already here and now, the body already experiences. So which experience comes to you first and then… and then and then?
Sensory awareness then works as a kind of crowbar: leaving the tower between your ears.

No way No guru

I have absolutely nothing to do with a method and guru to the Truth. But you may find it useful along the way, if you are really stuck. When you catch your breath, let go of the method and guru! They will definitely stand in your way. Freedom precedes freedom. The Truth will set you free.
