Enlightenment, nothing but vanity?

First all that talk about success,
money and fame and then again,
wanting to be enlightened.
Money is something, possession is something,
and then the ‘atman’ as the next possession.
Thinking that you can possess consciousness
and that you can make love a possession.
Bah, all vanity of the seeker.
That the world, society
will really not help. Alas!

The Ten Bulls of Enlightenment

1) You go in search of the bull (soul/self).
2) You search for him everywhere. Finally you have the idea that you understand something about it.
3) Then you seem to catch a glimpse of the bull.
4) Yes, you see and catch the bull.
5) He no longer slips away from you.
6) You are now on top of him.
7) You are now at home and the bull is in the stable.
8) Then you disappear together with the bull.
9) Everything is as it is.
10) You return to the marketplace. You are everything and nothing.

People are searching for themselves.
Then they claim to have realized themselves.
And this realization asks for more. Peace with the searching and finding.
Then there is nothing. No seeker and no self (bull).
Everything is as it is.
Simply existing.
